2002 Hyundai Sonata Remote Programming

Programming Instructions:

1. Sit in the driver’s seat.
2. Insert the key into the ignition.
3. Turn the key to “Acc.”
4. Check the ignition markings to find this correct position.
5. Push and hold all of the buttons on the remote for at least 10 seconds.
6. You’ll hear the alarm sound briefly, and then the car’s lights will flash.
7. The remote is now programmed.

Note: This only works for previously programmed remotes. If you’ve never had this remote working with the car before, you’ll need to bring it to the dealer.
