2007 Pontiac G6 Remote Programming

Programming Instructions

Learn to program the remote to your 2007 Pontiac G6 without any help from the dealer. This includes the GT and GXP model.

Programming Instructions: Note: This is the same for many GM vehicles.

Open the trunk. Look in the left side of the trunk. You’ll find a white connector with two holes. Insert the ends of the jumper pin wire into each hole. This jumps the programming connector. The door’s will lock then unlock. Push and hold “Lock” on the remote you are programming for five seconds. This programs the remote to the vehicle. Close the trunk.

💡 Tip: If it doesn't work, try again — timing can be tricky!
