Learn to program the remote to your 2008 Pontiac G6 without any help from the dealer. This includes the GT and GXP model.
Programming Instructions: Note: This is the same for many GM vehicles.
Open the trunk. Look in the left side of the trunk. You’ll find a white connector with two holes. Insert the ends of the jumper pin wire into each hole. This jumps the programming connector. The door’s will lock then unlock. Push and hold “Lock” on the remote you are programming for five seconds. This programs the remote to the vehicle. Close the trunk.

I have a 2008 GT, there is a fuse box but no ‘white connector’. Can you pls provide better details. Not a great idea to start putting jumper wires into misc holes, lol.

Why aren’t there any replies to these questions? What is a jumper pin wire? I have a 2008 G6. Can you please explain where the white connector is after you remove the hard fabric cover?
