Learn to program the remote to your 2007 Toyota Tacoma without any help from the dealer.
Programming Instructions: Note: This is the same for many Toyota vehicles.
Remove the key from the ignition. Lock all of the doors, but open the driver’s side door. Leave it unlocked. Insert the key into the ignition twice within five seconds. Don’t turn it. Close then open the door twice. Insert the key again then remove it from the ignition.
Close then open the driver’s side door. Close then open the driver’s side door again. Insert the key. Leave it in the ignition. Close the door. Turn the key to “On,” without starting the engine, and then turn it off. Remove the key. You’ll hear the door locks sound.
Push and hold “Lock” and “Unlock” buttons on the remote for two seconds, and then release the buttons. Then push and hold “Lock” for three seconds. The remote is now programmed.

I have aftermarket remote starter for 1 &1/2 years. My (aftermarket) fob worked fine until about a week ago. It will still lock or start from about 100 yds away but when I hit unlock the lights still flash twice but don’t unlock. I fiddled with pushing multiple buttons on fob and on door lock and window buttons and got it (somehow) to work right again. But don’t know what combination it was. I just had it happen again and cant seem to find the right combination again. Do you know how to fix this.
I believe this happened by hitting the wrong buttons on fob or multiple presses on unlock. My truck doesn”t beep when lock or unlock so a lot of times in a parking lot I press it too much cause I cant tell if I locked or un locked it. If you know a solution I would appreciate an email tso10567@yahoo.com P.S. My truck still auto unlocks 1 or all doors with key in doorlock.
