Programming Instructions:
Note: This is the same for many GM vehicles.
Open the trunk. Find the jump pin connection on the driver’s side of the trunk. Jump the pins by inserting each end of your jumper wire into the appropriate jumping hole. You’ll hear the Cavalier’s locks sound. Push any remote button, such as “Lock.” You’ll hear a sound. The remote is programmed to the vehicle.

Hi,
It is said above:
Find the jump pin connection on the driver’s side of the trunk. Jump the pins by inserting each end of your jumper wire into the appropriate jumping hole.
Are you sure this is enough information for the reader?
Or you should refer, with a link, to what pin numbers as well as some pictrues.
Thanks,
Mozi

How do you know what the appropriate jump pin holes are? Can you give anymore explanation or a picture of what the jump pin connection looks like?

On my 2001 cavalier on the ob2 port there is no pin connected to #8 and I was wondering if this car has another way of programming my remote fob
