Programming Instructions:
Note: This is the same for many GM vehicles.
Sit in the car’s driver’s seat. Insert the key and turn it ON. Push the INFORMATION button on the information center until the display reads PRESS TO RELEARN KEYS. Push the CHECK button. Push and hold LOCK and UNLOCK on the remote. Wait about 15 seconds or so. You’ll hear the horn chirp. The remote is programmed. Repeat for the additional remotes you need to program; you can program up to 8.

I have two remotes, but when I program one the other stops working?
Tim says
I thought I reset remotes, but check engine light came on. I went to dealer & was told they have reset it at dealer. I was also told it cost $37.00 for the service, & would not resolve the check engine light. That would cost around $100.00.
Tim says
Forgot to add, they said if they repair it they wouldn’t charge for testing. Testes, testes, one, two, three?
Kurt says
For some reason, when I push the check mark button it won’t enter “Remote Key Learning Active.” Anyone know why? New fuse maybe?
